This week, I focused on adding the Add Application modal pop-up. Now, users can successfully create their own cards instead of relying only on the ones generated by the AI. When they click the plus sign, a pop-up appears where they can enter the job title, company name, and an optional notes section to add any extra details. It is a small addition, but it makes the app feel much more flexible and personal.

I also added an Edit Application feature so users can update the information on cards created by the AI or add notes whenever they need to. I also included a Delete button on each card with a confirmation prompt to prevent accidental deletions. These updates make managing the board smoother and more intuitive.

Setting all of this up went really smoothly since the backend structure was done very well. It made connecting everything on the frontend much easier.

With user testing next month, next week will mostly be about polishing and preparing for that. We will be focusing on fixing small UI inconsistencies, cleaning up the layout, and making sure everything feels as seamless as possible for testers. It is starting to feel like JAICE is coming together in a real, usable way, and I am very excited to see how people interact with it once testing begins.
