We finally finished JAICE 1.0 for our capstone project. This week, we presented the app and both of our commercials, and it honestly felt surreal seeing everything come together. The response was really positive, and everyone especially loved the TikTok ad I worked on, which made me really glad I put so much work into it. It was fun, different, and memorable, and it actually did a great job of explaining what the product does in a simple way.
We are also set to graduate next week, which is exciting but also a little scary. At the same time, we are planning to continue working on JAICE even after graduation, if nothing else, so we can use it ourselves in our own job searches. It is not just a school project anymore. It is something that actually feels useful and real.
I am really proud of what we built. It works well, it looks good, and it does what we set out to make it do. Of course, there are things we wish we had more time to implement, but we accomplished the bulk of our goals and ended up with a well-rounded, fully functional product that reflects how hard we worked.
More than anything, I am grateful for the team. We worked really well together, stayed consistent, and pushed through every stage of this project as a group. I am genuinely looking forward to continuing to work with them, whether that is on JAICE 2.0 or something new.
It is a really good feeling to end this chapter knowing we built something we are truly proud of.
