This week, the project is pretty much finished, and now we are in that final phase of polishing and refining details. It feels good to finally be at the point where we are not adding huge new features, but instead making sure everything works the way it should.

One of the main things I added was a “Sort by Salary” option, which gives users another way to organize their job cards. I also went through and fixed several spots where cards were not fully clickable, even though they should have been. Now, clicking feels a lot more natural and consistent on that page.

I also tracked down a weird visual issue where one page looked lighter than the others. It turned out to be a background layering problem, where that page was not properly nested under the header like the rest. Once that was fixed, the styling finally matched across the whole app, which made everything feel much cleaner.

At this point, we are hoping to do another round of user testing. We have made a lot of changes based on feedback from our first testing session, and now we really want to see if those fixes actually solved the problems users were running into. Since the core features are done, getting that extra feedback will help us figure out what, if anything, we should focus on next before wrapping everything up.

Overall, it is exciting to see JAICE reach this stage. What started as an idea is now a fully working application, and these last few tweaks are really bringing everything together.
